Dance and Disability Workshop

IMRC’s workshop in integrated dance evolves from the idea that dance and movement are not defined by any single physical type. Rather that the physical expression, the experience of a collective dance movement, as well as the research into the performative potential of movement and dance, belongs to all. This workshop is for all interested in movement and dance, regardless of their dance experience. It consists of facilitated movement exercises which focus on body awareness, dance improvisation and encouraging creativity as the vehicle for the transformation of the body.

IMRC (Integrated Movement Research Collective) is a group of dancers with years of experience, from various dance genres, physical practices and educational experiences. By working together they aim to develop their understanding of the essence of motion, performance and communication of dance, as well as share this with others through a range of presentations and workshops.

IMRC are:
Iva Nerina Sibila, Tatjana Vukadinović, Nerea Lasić, Slađan Livnjak, Nikola Orešković

The workshop is free.
